the land of Dreams

When I was driving up thru Disney recently for work and saw the welcome sign, my heart smiled.  I have to imagine everyone has a similar feeling. It truly is the magical world of Disney and everyone gets to just be themselves. Every time I've entered those gates I am reminded of fond memories that I hold close to my vest. I've realized that as silly as it may sound "it's my place". I remember being there as a child with my brother and cousin and then a few years ago taking the next generation of our family.

Those two memories reminded me of how family and extended family are my brick and mortar. It's funny how you can be reminded what's really important in your life. I've been on a personal journey to have the courage to find out how amazing I can be and to move with intent.  In order to do that, I've had to take a true look at what my brand is from an internal and external view. And let me just say sitting in my hotel room at the heart of where dreams come true - I realized I needed to make a few changes if I was going to really make the most of this ride of a lifetime. Sometimes we block our blessings by being stubborn or allowing people to remain in our life after their season or reason has passed. I'm guilty of the latter more than I care to admit.

This is a season of thanksgiving, genuine laughter, and some personal changes for me. I've been blessed and highly favored with a career that enables me to positively change lives, supportive friends, and a family who loves me more than I deserve. With all of those amazing things, a few headaches are a ok with me!

I promise my story is imperfect, but it's my perfect story.
